There is a science to carpet cleaning. We identify the origin of the stain and can pre-treat before we start the cleaning process. There are different chemicals to use on pet stains, odor or urine. Red and blue stains prove to be some of the most difficult stains to remove. However, we do everything possible to remove those stains. All of our carpet cleaning is done from a truck mounted system which offers superior carpet cleaning.
Carpet Cleaning Stains and Odors
May not come out because of pH or time. Pet stains can remove dye from the carpet. If the stain is “fresh” we may be able to remove it.
Depends on the strength. If the odor is from urine, our enzyme treatment may be able to remove the odor. If the odor is just from pets being in the home, a deodorizer along with a good carpet cleaning may take care of the problem.
if it nail polish is still wet we may be able to get it out. If it is dry, depending on the type of carpet we may be able to remove it. Acetone in fingernail polish/remover can melt some types of carpets.
Red or Blue Stains
we have a chemical that removes most of these stains. Just depends on the time the stain has been in the carpet.
Coffee, Soda, Dirt & Grease
All usually come up with no problems, but it depends on the amount of time they were left on the carpet.
if wet, we probably can get it out, if it is dry call us.
The proper way to remove urine is to treat the padding underneath. To treat the padding underneath we have to perform what we call an “enzyme”. It takes the enzyme 48 hours to work. Please ensure that you schedule the cleaning within 2 days of the treatment.
After Carpet Cleaning
Once your carpet has been cleaned and the furniture placed back in the room (on blocks/tabs) we ask that you not remove the blocks for 24 hours. This is due to the amount of time it takes for the carpet underneath the furniture to dry. Drying time takes between 3-5 hours. If it is humid outside the drying time will take longer. Please circulate the air in your home (use ceiling fans) this will help with the drying process.
Scotchguard – Scotchguard need only be applied approximately every 2 years. This can vary depending on the amount of traffic the carpet endures. Carpet cleaning between applications will not remove Scotchguard.
We also offer rug cleaning.
