Our Upholstery Cleaning Process:
Fabric Identification before Upholstery Cleaning
A. Natural fibers: cotton, wool, silk
B. Synthetic fibers: polyester, nylon, polypropylene
We brush your upholstered furniture with a soft (horsehair brush). Dust, crumbs, hair and other micro insolubles get wedged between the woven fibers of the fabric and become lodged. A light brushing loosens these particles so they can be removed prior to wet or dry cleaning.
Our truck mounted vacuum system will then be added to the process: removing dust and hair prior to the wet or dry cleaning dramatically improves the finished work. (many companies save time by skipping this very important step)
Check for Colorfast before any Upholstery Cleaning
We test for colorfastness on all natural fibers in inconspicuous areas.
Determine solutions to be used on two factors:
A. Colorfast results
B. Natural or synthetic fiber
Proceed with the appropriate upholstery cleaning process. The results of fabric identification and colorfast will determine which upholstery cleaning method is more appropriate:
B.Dry Foam Upholstery Cleaning
C.Truck Mounted Hot Water Extraction
